NORTH COUNTY SCHOOL OF THE ARTS

ABOUT US

Founded in 1998 by professional singers and teachers Pamela Laurent and Scott Gregory, the Voice Studio, and now the North County School of the Arts, offers a comprehensive teaching curriculum that empowers students to become better singers, actors, dancers, and performers.

Students of all levels and aspirations are welcome. The spectrum of our students ranges from beginners, gaining their first performing arts experience,  to experienced performers who want to sharpen their technique.  We warmly welcome beginning students, and are supportive of all new students.  We also pride ourselves in keeping lessons and classes as challenging as students desire, as well as adjusting our teaching style to match a student’s ambition.

NCSA is committed to a professional staff of working professionals/performers  who can better relate to, teach, and motivate our students.  Students are enabled to use these instructors as a resource for real-world performing situations.

Our students have performed at some of the region's most prestigious venues: The Old Globe, The Staples Center, Moonlight, The Starlight Theater, North Coast Repertory Theater, and even at Padre's games!

In addition to local and national performing, our students have been accepted into some of the most prestigious university programs in the United States.  This year, our students have been accepted to USC (Thornton School of Music,) Baldwin Wallance Musical Theater Dept., Boston Conservatory of Music, Vanderbilt (Blair School of Music), Chapman, Redlands, Rider University and many others. Our students work hard, and their instructions helps them achieve their goals and dreams.
